"Thanks for the tax breaks, but now we are off to the next tax breaks"
F. Borger? Or short, Forger?
Most likely someone who wants to be able to claim "This is not my signature" in court.
There is a very big difference between the headline of "Bird flu virus found in pasteurized milk" and the real message "fragments of the bird flu virus had been detected in some samples of pasteurized milk in the U.S.". Turning potential health hazards and threats into harmless particles is the very job of pasteurizing. That is excactly why we pasteurize milk.
Heck, the virus particles could even evoke immune reactions, thus vaccinating us in a natural way. Just by drinking milk.
Just another reason why he should not be in the White House again.
People who are dumb enough to try taking a loaded gun onto an airplane are lacking the mental capacity to own a gun without endangering other people. In civilized countries, this usually will lead to a revocation of your firearms licence.
By the looks of the videos I've seen, the Ukrainians have turned small drone warfare into an artform.
They use them to find the Russians from up high and either send artillery or other drones, and seem to have designed a sport like "from how high can you drop a grenade into an open hatch?". I believe that any high, whirring sounds on the front will make Russians nervous in the future.
“I do not want any kind of rainbow display especially in this month. We have a conservative town and as a library do not need to make political statements (see Target and Budlight as negative examples). I certainly do not want the library to promote LGBTQ agendas.”
Ah, and removing them is not a political statement?
Just another reason why not every idiot and his uncle should be allowed to own a firearm.
"Firing on the spot" is just one item on a long list. No maternity leave, health insurance bound to the job, reliance on tips to pay workers, lack of whistleblower protection, laughable PTO, limited paid time off for health reasons. All of that has been solved in civilized countries, except for the US.
I know why migratory birds fly faraway south in the winter. It is not because of the cold, or the lack of food.
It is solely because they want to escape "Last Christmas" on repeat from each and every loudspeaker.
The massive wood furniture that lasts two lifetimes is only as cheap as the IKEA counterpart if you do it all by yourself, in your own little woodshop, and only need to pay for glue, nails, hinges, and electricity. And still only of you Include felling and milling the trees on your own.
Some years ago, I wanted one wall of the living room done with a custom-made, wall filling book shelf. Estimated cost by the carpenter: 7000. I paid about 3000 for IKEA furniture and other materials and did two walls of shelves instead of just one, suspended the ceiling, ran a ton of wires and redid the whole living room electrical and communication infrastructure. Yes, all that for half the price quoted by the carpenter. Guess what? None of the furniture has broken down so far. And I don't expect it to.
Which means that Firefox works properly on that aspect. Good.
