I used to be fluent in Russian and I can understand both just as well.

Since when is the UK in the EU?

Slip, slop, slap. I think that goes without saying.

I'm not sure Ukrainian is so different from Russian that it would take very much to learn to speak it and write it. Then again I'm no novelist.

Then let's teach kids to use Wolfram Alpha.

When Shell stops donations to political parties, candidates and all of its lobbying I'll agree with you.

It's the tradition silly. They just want the good old days. They're just conservatives.

Why were there only 22 nazis on trial in Nuremberg? Because the dock could only fit 22 people. How did the denazification go? Of the 1.3million nazis to be prosecuted it was only a fraction of a fraction. Germany now is not what it used to be then, but there are 'conservatives' among the good German people.

I'm so sorry man. I hope you find some happiness or at least less misery sooner rather than later. I'm about your age, closed my business a little over a year ago (covid stuff) and while I spent most of the "free" time working on renovating our house I'm at a point where I'll need to start looking for a job. I'm not thrilled with (or perhaps dreading) the idea.

Fantastic! I thought that communism was impossible to achieve in a state, but if it is only achievable in 'no state', then we have to come up with a word more negative than 'impossible'.

I appreciate your write up, but I think you replied to a different comment from some person in Estonia who might or might not have lived under that regime. Either way, Marxism-Leninism had been drilled into me for decades.

Dude, you don't know the first thing about communism. "From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs." It means you don't take more than you need. "Rich communist" is an oxymoron.
