Huh? American TV is very Christian - sex and drugs are usually only brought up when they're being used to teach the audience a lesson about how they're sinful. It's rare when they're mentioned in another context and even more rare when they're discussed without euphemism.
I'm American and I never had to do them. We only had fire and tornado drills. And one other drill in high school, no idea what it was for, but we had to walk about two blocks away from the school and back. It was great since it was basically a field trip that took up an entire period.

This reminds me of the "toxic masculinity" discourse. Some people say that the term means that masculinity itself is toxic. Other people say that masculinity is fine, it's toxic masculinity that's the problem, hence the qualifier.
I've seen people use the term late-stage capitalism to advocate for like, Bush era politics so I don't think we're getting the right message across.

Hmmm I see that the robot didn't say anything about jurisdiction. Assange isn't American nor was he on American territory when he published the information. Siding with the US government on this case is effectively giving American courts the power to govern the entire planet.
