And that's a wrap. God bless our cast and crew whose commitment, creativity, and hard work have brought this project to life. I set out to make a movie about a good man in a world that isn't always so much. And the goodness and kindness and love l've encountered on a daily basis on the set has inspired me and thrust me forward when I felt too spent to move on my own. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. It has been an honor. The destination has been Superman, but the journey has been the toil and the laughter and the emotions and ideas and magic we've shared together on set - and for that I am forever grateful. ❤️

The article is in Brazilian Portuguese, you might want to translate it using external/browser tools. I also prepared a summary below.

TL;DR:

escondidoCW's president of entertainment Brad Schwartz clarified that, despite how well “Superman & Lois” has performed, the decision to end the DC property came from Warner Bros. — “They don’t want a competing Superman product in the marketplace,” Schwartz said, referring to James Gunn’s 2025 movie “Superman: Legacy” in an interview to TheWrap

The first two issues of the new DC Comics series Justice League vs Godzilla vs Kong have been filled with great art, characterization, action and splash pages. The series is shaking up to be like a well-done summer blockbuster flick but for comics…and in winter. Kudos to the creators behind the effort so far. Very well executed! Some great Superman moments too.

Well, I was glad I didn't blink. For me, it was the feeling of being actualized. Even that look for that particular character, finally seeing it on screen, was satisfying. But as I said, it's quick. If you really wanted to know what I was going do with that character, look at my performance in “City of Angels.”

I was supposed (to play) Clark Kent after that (in "Superman Lives"), and I was already developing this alien otherness playing this angel. That is a perfect example of the tonality you would've gotten for Kal-El and for Clark Kent: Clark would've been a little more amusing but Kal-El (had) the sensitivity and the goodness and the vulnerability and all those feelings that were kind of angelic and also terrifying.

It was good!

The characters felt likeable. I much prefer a Superman that feels human, and this version definitely does. I'm looking forward to seeing where the show goes.

Our hero with his red underwear (on the outside of his leotard)? Think Christopher Reeve...or even Brandon Routh.

Or without (on the inside of his gimpsuit 😉)? Think Henry Cavill.
