I got active into private trackers a couple years ago. I started out to gain reliable access to a variety of quality media such as film, television, and audiobooks. In that time I've had a bit of success in gaining invites to private trackers. Have gotten into several of the big trackers and built double digit ratios in almost all of them.
I still like I still want to go for Redacted or Orpheus because of the specialization in music but other than that am I there? Have I achieved a "reliable access to a variety of quality media such as film, television, and audiobooks?" Is there some big missing piece, some major tracker out there that I simply must get into to achieve my goal or am I just chasing stats now?
Here's what I've accomplished so far:
13 TB with Milkie. This was the first major tracker to let me in. It has a pretty large and eclectic library and I've got a lot of good stuff here.
5 TB with Fearnopeer . FNP is the first place I check for film and television. Quality is excellent and the interface that organizes multiple torrents around the film or series titles is so superior. My ratio here is actually the weakest of any major tracker at around 5.5.
6 TB with TorrentLeach. I find TL is on par with Milkie for general availability and quality but lacks the organizational advantages of FNP.
1.3 TB with MyAnonaMouse. MAM is the best, simply the best. If you know you know.
650 GB with ReelFlix They have the same great organization as FNP but a much narrower selection.
1.4 TB with HD-space. They occasionally have something I want. It seems as though this site may be less than it once was.
Lot of other minor players that I've joined but haven't really become particularly active with because they don't really seem to add much.
