I won't post the IPs but on a lot of my torrents I get tons of IPs owned by cloudflare always connecting and sitting at 0% or I get tons of misc global IPs with port number 46510 sitting at 0%. They never have a client listed. All public torrents btw.

Note: A lot of them seem to be affiliated with ISPs or backbone networks.

Hey Gang, I am switching my torrenting to Qbit. Question, can I add my current library to it for seeding? This is something I have never needed to attempt before. Thanks.

Hi, I'm new in torrenting, yeah, but I am wondering: How to contribute to community? (Even if it's "little" things ^^) I try to seed when I can (and when my connection allow it) but maybe could I do "more"?

I hope it's the right place to ask that ^^'

Do I just copy the save file to the other computer's save folder?

I've only ever torrented with my Mac Laptop the last 20 years because I never had a desktop. I still use Tranmission on the mac laptop and it works perfectly.

But now I have a NAS and a Plex Server on my PC and I very naively stuck with Transmission.

It's been a nightmare. Downloads not showing up after grabbing the magnet link, file sound "dings" happening well before the visual download bar is complete. It's super janky.

Is Qbittorrent the way to go?

I'm 37 and haven't tried anything except Transmission.

Here is what I do. I torrent straight to my PC's m.2 drive, then I transfer over to my NAS. That works fine for me for now. I just want a reliable client at this point. Thanks.

I've been thinking I'd like to share playlist I make on YouTube and edit a short looping video over it with clips from movies or series.

It's just that it has copyright issues in multiple ways if I'd do that. Though still on YouTube I see many of those (example: twilight themed playlists with movie clips playing, and a link to Spotify for the playlist etc)

Besides the fact I'm reusing and sharing movies and music, I'll also have downloaded these files by torrenting. So I wonder how big of a risk I'm taking?

Will it most likely just get flagged on YouTube, or will I seriously risk to be fined for illegal downloading + copyright issues?

A couple of days ago qbitorrent doesn’t want to download anything, it doesn’t get stalled but anything I download is stuck in “downloading” at 0%. I have proton vpn bound to it, doesnt know if its because of that. But it used to work perfectly.

Hi there,

I am using Transmission daemon for decades. The best way for me is using Chrome extension that easily send torrent file from tracker page just to the certain dir on my home server (like Movies, Shows etc).

I have used to enjoy Remote Transmission ++ for that cases. But after recently Chrome update I have received a message that this extension will be disabled soon.

I have checked the developer's GitHub and he said that the extension abandoned now because of Chrome Manifest V3: https://github.com/YodaDaCoda/chrome-transmission-remote-plus/issues/58#issuecomment-2322858552

Maybe someone can advice me with a good Transmission extension that support Manifest V3 and allow choose dir for each torrent?

P.S. I can't give up Chrome for another browser because other useful features (like convenient working with profiles in macOS).

P.P.S. Sorry for my bad English.
