I'm nearly at 7 with my employer and I've found the situation to be quite good and I see no sign yet to jump ship. There's still good gigs out there.

I'm sure the person you are responding to had good reason to stick around 20 years. It's possible only recently did the math not work out for them.

So what, we should eat shit and die and suffer and not be excited about things that feel like small victories?

The pov you're providing is bleak and grim. We aren't dumb, we know we're fucked and our election sucks. We can focus on multiple things at a time and we can laugh at our political idiots while also being mad at them.

Yeah, is almost like shaming people for driving smaller vehicles is dumb. Turns out there are a lot of different needs.

Smells a lot like "Funding secured" or any of the other insane promises he's made.

There's the hyper loop, the cyber truck missing deadlines and quality concerns and range lies, all of the Tesla delays, etc

That said they did FDA approval for human trials last May https://www.reuters.com/science/elon-musks-neuralink-gets-us-fda-approval-human-clinical-study-brain-implants-2023-05-25/

No. I want the freedom of changing my house to my exact liking and renting doesn't allow for that. Furthermore if I'm renting, then I'm paying for someone else's speculative property.

Some people just don't want to climb the ladder anymore. I'm not soft resigning or quiet quitting by doing exactly my job description and nothing more - I'm settling and content.

I wish this wasn't such a foreign or bad concept to those in business.

People in the real world like to rub their parts together and don't concern themselves with these labels.

Yes these labels are meaningful and can help you define who you are and what you want but don't let them get in the way of finding someone who wants to consensually rub parts. It's really just an Internet thing and niche sex culture.

It's all about context though. $2000 is substantial to much of the people who live on this planet. You're right about that amount in investment returns would be considered small, but the people who this amount is significant don't usually have investments to rely on.

Why are you acting like these people here replying are your direct abusers? We don't even know you and you are accusing us of trying to murder you.

Do you not see how insane these words you are saying are?

I'm sorry your life has been hard and seemingly full of abuse, but we are not those abusers.

No. They are back to their regularly scheduled programming. Their recent apology videos aren't even in their top25 most viewed
