Was going to comment about a knife as well but you beat me to it. Though I went with Wusthof. The difference a good knife makes a huge difference for cooking.

The same applies to cookware. Don't overpay buying a whole set is a waste. Buy the couple pots and pans you need individually and save.

Take a look at the Logitech G600. It has 12 side buttons and a shift mode that lets you map 12 more actions to those buttons. It has onboard memory rather than needing a companion app. Linux compatibility is great as it can be programmed with Piper. Only downside is it's a bit large if you have smaller hands.

I would disagree if gestures being faster. Mostly because animations can't be disabled with gestures.

If I hit the home button I am instantly on my home screen rather than waiting on the zoom and shrink animation. Same issue with recent apps.

I like to add a splash of cocktail bitters to soda stream water. A bit of fresh fruit and herbs is nice too.

I picked up that same Ryobi starter kit when I bought my house. I know they aren't the top of the line, but it's served me well for light duty household projects.

I always thought having some sort of eGPU in the dock would be nice. Enough to let it run games at higher resolution and frame rates on a large screen.

No idea how feasible that would actually be though.
