I am actually really glad to see this happen, Mozilla needs a massive refocus on what actually matters (Firefox, Thunderbird, new tech etc).

there was once a time when mozilla was at the fore front of tech development and they were churning out extremely cool tech one after the other. Servo, DeepSpeech, Firefox reality (wolvic is the successor in case anyone was wondering), a TV browser (Why did they have to kill this of all things off T.T) and others.

I want to see mozilla put more focus, and more importantly, a larger portion of the money they receive on actually doing things.

The War in Ukraine Was Provoked—and Why That Matters to Achieve Peace

The shooting war in Ukraine began with Yanukovych’s overthrow nine years ago, not in February 2022 as the U.S. government, NATO, and the G7 leaders would have us believe.

So many people forget that the Ukrainian Russian conflict never really ended, the idea that it was an unprovoked invasion is absurd, (and no, before someone decides to make a braindead comment, provoked does not mean justified.) There have been many leaked videos pre-invasion of violence towards both sides, and neither side made a proper effort to actually quell it, only surface level bullshit inorder to take the "moral ground:

for the semantically inquisitive folk.

It's worth noting if you are using this on an arm device, this isn't a "virtualization VM" any more, as you are using the emulator backend, so this is far closer to a traditional emulator then anything else.

While the term virtual machine is extremely poorly defined, it could still apply.

also TCG is as slow as molasses, it's a good demo, not actually usable for much, at least unless it's a super beefy phone.

Among the other things that have been said, Android auto often makes use of some tricks too. Things like hibernation that phones typically do not do (Probably the biggest one right here), Animations to hide loading time, loading some critical, but not latency sensitive services until after the boot. and some other misc service management stuff.

look into proot+termux-x11 if you don't have a rooted device, it's still very good.

it's actually not that far off a chroot, it uses LXC, the really cool thing thats going on is this wayland integration, I was waiting for termux-gui + wlroots to come along, but this might just land first

I find that fair, but at the same time, proton has a rocksolid history at this point. OFC they will likely add their features to it, and maybe remove some. But im the end its still open source and under gpl licence, so its not like proton cam change that unless they remove all other commits.

oh I can explain mine, Bad performance, lacking features, devs who don't care about problems that effect the user.

Manjaro for some reason can't stop breaking crap, and when they do break crap, they aren't exactly elegant about it

you probably have face/iris unlock enabled, I dont have that phone specifically, but some phones will use the screen to make sure there is enough light for the sensor to work

EDIT: I thin it might just be face unlock

why so it can break on me because I sneezed wrong? I cant even make a fresh install on windows on my laptop because windows updates will occur, and will brick the device necessitating a reinstall.

those arent even the same thing
