Why is it that people living in former Soviet states overwhelmingly wish that the USSR was still around?

When you respond to evidence with one-liners that amuse no one, you reveal yourself to be dwelling in a fantasy realm no different from the one inhabited by Nazis. That strategy didn’t work out well for them.

It’s not the system designed by genocidal slave owners that’s the problem, we just need to get rid of the corrupt elites and replace them with GOOD elites and everything will work itself out!”

You said that communism can’t work because of human nature, thereby implying that everyone everywhere has always been exactly the same, ignorant of the fact that the concept of private property was invented about five thousand years ago in a few isolated places. For hundreds of thousands of years and for the vast majority of people who have ever lived, they never knew anything about private property and probably would have considered the idea absurd (which it is). No private property = communism. If we can say that anything is human nature (nothing actually is, since human nature changes depending on context), it would actually be communism. Capitalism is not only collapsing right now because it’s a terrible idea, it’s collapsing because of its fundamental contempt for human beings and even nature itself.

Thank God the Ukrainian military isn’t notoriously packed with Nazis! Because Biden has already given $75 billion to these people, and what do you call someone who gives money to Nazis?

Maybe you’re new here, but fascism and liberalism are two sides of the capitalist coin. Liberals stopped masking almost the instant Biden set foot in the White House, despite the fact that 2/3 of covid deaths occurred while Biden was office (liberals will also excuse Biden’s “inaction” while claiming that Trump, who occupied the same office, was a tyrannical authoritarian totalitarian dictator who ran roughshod over the hallowed institutions of our precious democracy). Capitalism is a death cult, workers should run the world, not bourgeois scum and their running dogs.
