Did you read "The body keeps the score" yet?

I did a bunch of removals jobs loading a house into the truck and straight to the tip. Threw out a bunch of good stuff. Sad really.

"Clothes airer" from my removals inventory training.

It's not like being ill, it is being ill. Just because it's less tangible than a worn tendon or excess urea crystals in your big toes, it's still a pathology which impacts your health.

I've mentioned it before, but my new gp is fantastic. She listens to everything I say, she hasn't tried to bullshit me on anything. I stuck with my old shit gp for far too long. Literally wasting my life. If you've got a shit gp, at least roll the dice and try a new clinic if you're able. Pay the transfer fee and forget the headache. They're not all grumpy arrogant wankers.

Replaceable battery laws cannot come soon enough.

For sure. The "fill every available space with advertising" model can get fucked.

I'd be interested to see what percentage of damage was being done by the top 1% of wealth though.

I heard someone describe tankies as alt-left.

I'm still rocking my pixel 5 because it works and the battery lasts me a full day if not more. I should probably look at loading graphene onto it.

My hatred of advertising was probably a big part of why my small business failed.

People need to be able to inform the market of their product and services. Johnny graduates as an accountant can he not put an ad in the classifieds or a sign on his office? I think there should be places where advertising is acceptable where people can look for what they might need, rather than having companies competing for our attention while telling us that we're incomplete without their things.

Bandcamp Fridays began in March of 2020 at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic when the shuttering of venues led to a loss of vital tour revenue for artists. Since then, Bandcamp Fridays—on which we waive our revenue share and pass the funds directly to artists & labels—has resulted in millions of fans paying over $120 million directly to labels and musicians they love. In addition to helping artists pay the rent, or fund album recordings and tours, Bandcamp Fridays have also become a beacon for artists and record labels looking to raise awareness for causes or raise money for charities.

And so we’re happy to announce that the next Bandcamp Friday will be on May 2, 2025 from midnight to midnight PST.

We don't get paid for it in Australia but it'll go to helping someone who needs it.

Looks like somewhere between a bush doof and role playing convention. $180/ticket and an option for shared camping next door.

I'm not affiliated, just passing it on. It's only a month away. I'm considering it as its a local cheaper get away weekend. It'd be nice to split the cost of a powered camp site as they're $100 + $10 per person up to eight people.

https://z-library.co/ from the libgen (BreaTheBook 3) discord.

A teenager armed with a loaded shotgun has been charged after allegedly trying to force his way onto a Jetstar flight in Victoria before being overpowered by passengers.

The 17-year-old from Ballarat allegedly climbed through a hole in the security fencing at busy Avalon Airport before making his way on foot to the plane.

The teen tried to climb the front stairs into the cabin, but he was overpowered by three passengers who noticed him carrying the shotgun.

Police were called to the major airport, near Geelong, on Thursday afternoon following reports a male with a firearm had attempted to board a Jetstar flight.

The flight which was carrying about 150 people was bound for Sydney.
