I really like your narratization of the events, for me it had to do with him always being shitty but people always turning a blind eye because they fall into grand futuristic schemes instead of recognizing the union busting, sex scandal fiend may be a piece of shit.

Also a factor you didn't mention was his fall into the alt right which has gained ire from most people over the internet (aside from right wing echo chambers or his twitter clique)

Shittiest sarcasm I've seen today...

Edit: wow, looking at his post history this wasn't even an attempt on sarcasm, what a sensible way to assert your "pro life" beliefs

It really isn't, at least in the way the term is used. For example, would you describe the feeling you get after snorting cocaine as a "health benefit" just because you feel better momentarily???

Hope this turns out well, I greatly enjoyed the 10th dentist sub on reddit since I felt it actually mangaged to make "upvote things you disagree/don't do, and downvote those that you do" as opposed to the extremely popular vailidation seeking posts over at unpopular opinion

Since you didn't specify a genre I will just recommend, from my most played games which have no explicit story (as in, there probably is some lore or story but you don't see it unless you watch for it like in Dark Souls), try to see if there is anything you are interested in.

Risk of rain 2, 3d tps roguelike where you stack items until the game breaks, the game gets more difficult each minute you spend on a stage.

Factorio and satisfactory, both are part of the factory building genre, the first one is 2d and the second 3d. I recommend starting with factorio, seriously these are pure crack despite jow unappealing the genre seems at first.

Slay the spire, a deck building roguelike.

Dirt rally 2, it is a single player game but there are leaderboard just in case ypu consider that "multiplayer".

Crypt of the necrodanncer, rythm roguelike where you move and attack on each beat

Descenders, bike game where you usually go downhill fast.

I was talking about the reason of why some comments weren't deleted, which a few weeks ago was being talked about as a conspiracy and was striking me as a little weird conduct by reddit since it was almost a non issue due to the small volume of people doing this compared to the harm of a potential lawsuit.

I agree erasing everything should be easier though

For me I have been having fun testing novel ai and trying tk play pseudo rpg adventures alone, I will probably never share anything but it has been really fun to try AI as a single player experience.

Yep, although it's almost been a year since the request so I don't know how high it's priority wise.

Since the question was why people use Kbin that is a big one for now, at least for me although I have an account there I just prefer lemmy since Kbin seems to be too much on its infancy and also the fact that because it doesn't have an open API as of now, there are (almost) no apps developed.

It kind of fills all if you sort by new, especially if the biggest nsfw instances are not blocked by your instance...

I must say, there are a surprising amount of factorio players on this threat, glad to see that!

Kind of difficult since aside steam I have no clue on how many hours I have spent, especially for console games.

That aside, my most played game in steam are:

  • melvor idle with 1500 hours (it's an idle to be fair, kind of runescape but it's only a UI, you leave it open farming)
  • factorio at 700 hours (the entirety of the factory building genre is pure crack)
  • risk of rain 2 at 400 hours (it's the perfect sequel and a damn fun roguelike where you stack items until your pc breaks)

I thought you were talking about the idea he was cleaning the servers from such content, but now I see you were actually saying he completely pulled the plug.

So yes, that is a posibility, but not giving any sort of heads up its closing or anything is just weird even if that were the case, this would not constitute a larger admission than what he already did since he already had said he was defederating from an instance to avoid that kind of content. And to my knowledge, as long as they are moderating this stuff social media and the like dont put the owner in trouble, otherwise every ceo of twitter or facebook would have gone to prison a long time ago.
