XMPP is safer and lighter anyway

Yeah that is really slow and they didn't say if it was global or a single torrent. 500kbs is slow for one torrent but if 500kbs is all the torrents combined then that is extremely slow

You can configure it on a headless machine and just forward the webui over an SSH tunnel for configiration / monitoring

What kind of speeds are you seeing per torrent and global with a few torrents running? I didn't try torrenting on I2p yet but even with my node on 24/7 even browsing was hella slow ( i was port forwarded too)

Port forward

Also don't set anonymous mode, it's not useful and gives you worse performance

Hey could you link a source for that? I was thinking of switching to graphene os but this drama makes me feel unsure.

I agree that vpns are fine for most people and use cases but is that a reason to lie by saying they make you anonymous? Vpns don't make you anonymous. That is a fact, why not say it? Besides, VPNs are constantly shilled so I am not worried about their popularity. Tor or I2p make you anonymous, if you want to be anonymous, use them. For torrenting or bypassing geoblock, vpns are good.

You can try jellyfin alongside plex, just install it and point it to your media. Then you can see if it works for you

Nextcloud to replace Google drive/docs. Jellyfin or plex for media. The arrs to aquire media (if you have the patience). A blog? A game server to play with friends.

I suggest using docker and docker-compose as it makes everything way easier. It does still take time and it can be frustrating but it is very rewarding.
