Ok... Why is it surprising?

Is it really surprising that a massive company investing billions into a nascent technology would develop in-house chips for it?

That's why I'm here. I mean, I was already using Lemmy since the whole api thing started earlier this year, but since my reddit app was still working I wasn't spending much time here.

Why would you ask for your two bucks back? You got years of good service. Let the dev keeps his couple of bucks.
