On one hand many countries will invest in heavy industry, manufacturing, and fall back to fossil fuels.

On the other hand, economy overall should slow down and consumption of non-essential goods and services will drop.

I'm not expecting any definite answers or numbers, of course, just some food for thought.

In many ways they literally are exclusive. The amount of stops drastically reduces possible frequency as well as speed of service, it takes a long time and really long distance to accelerate and brake at these ~300 kph speeds.

Local rail can service high density areas as well as smaller towns, so you want tracks closer to people. High speed rail usually only connects major stations, so most of the length of tracks could go through the middle of a field.

Two different use cases for rail transport which would ideally each get their own infrastructure, and of course there's plenty of options in between, too.

With how consistent McLarens are sooner rather than later Verstappen's chances at WDC will become unrealistic. He probably needs Red Bull to turn it around after summer break, or Lando and Oscar to take each other out at least once. Right now he can't even easily score podiums (only 5 of last 10 races), much less consistently win.

Apparently Yuki has adopted Checo's racing style of just driving into people. RB21 must be devouring remnants of his sanity.

Using DRS spots, lapping McLarens, blue flagsโ€ฆ absolutely everything to cling to that spot.

With that level of traffic management Alonso may have a future in multiclass racing, perhaps even WEC. ~/s~

Banana industry and fossil fuel industry need to declare war on each other.

Did they flatten the kerb on exit 7/inside 8 even more? It looks so sad.

As seen on the outside of turn 10
