GrapheneOS actually has a built in PDF reader. Open the "Apps" app if it isn't installed. Look for "PDF Reader" and make sure its installed.
The cloud is just someone else's computer. If we could normalize people holding their own data, that would be fantastic. I get that your grandma has a hard time backing up to multiple locations (and testing her backups). Convenient? Definitely. I just don't think your average person understands the ramifications of trusting these for-profit monopolies with complete control of their data. It seems like a magical refuge to far too many.
I feel legitimately bad when I see friends and family obediently sitting through ads. I absolutely do install extensions and 3rd party clients to remove ads. I alslo help my parents and close family install ad-blockers. I just don't want to be the guy who gets blamed when YT changes something and a 3rd party instance, client, or extension inevitability breaks. Just because I keep up on the latest blocking methods, doesn't mean I wouldn't like an ad-free experience for all.
You could go with a Razor MX500/MX650 and swap the motor, battery, controller ($500 stock and 15mph). With new powertrain, they can go up to 65mph with $1-2K in lithium and brushless upgrades. Don't forget to upgrades brakes and suspension. https://razor.com/products/electric-rides/mx650-dirt-rocket/
If you want something bigger, more Surron-ish, and not DIY, go with the Talaria XXX ($3150 45mph). https://lunacycle.com/XXX/
If you're looking to keep it mini, check the Emove RoadRunner ($1350 35mph) or RoadRunner Pro ($2500 50mph). https://www.voromotors.com/products/emove-roadrunner
Electro and Co. also sell a complete minibike called the "Electric Trail Machine." Its $3000 and goes 40mph but is only occasionally in stock. https://electroandcompany.com/collections/bikes/products/etm
The EBOX 1.6 or 2.0 are another great option. They go for $1350 (28mph) and $1650 (32mph) respectively. https://eboxelectric.com/ebox-electric-pit-bikes-1-and-2
These are just a few "minibikes" that come to mind. Prices and speeds are approximate. It really depends what terrain you want to ride, what range you need, and how fast you need (or want) to go, and if you're looking to mod it down the trail. Cheers mate!
Edit: I missed the part you wrote about riding on sand. You'll want as much power as you can afford and paddle tires.
FPV is hugely popular these days. You can get small, light cameras with low latency that connect to goggles (or TV/monitor). Its fairly affordable and you wouldn't need a large RC vehicle to live out your Home Alone 3 dreams!
Edit: The car in the movie is a Tyco Mutator (for any interested RC nerds).
"Alexa, was there an attempt by Amazon to put Internet connected microphones in everyone's home?!"

Bro, he's a fucking Lorax.
Is Fossify's SMS app on F-Droid yet?
BYD recalled 53k cars in 2022. The pictures you're talking about of abandoned EVs in China are mostly from ride-sharing companies that went bankrupt in the mid-2010s (after purchasing the cars with generous subsidies that ended in 2019).
Aux vs Bluetooth is not analogous to Betamax/VHS. It's more like WiFi and ethernet. WiFi can replace ethernet most of the time, but there are clear benefits to wired connections.
Uhhh cows not being able to consent is the only reason you aren't banging them? How the fuck do I unread something? Why speak in 3rd person? Lots of questions
