This is how you get Pokemon.

These guys thankfully filled in the info, but the signs on the roads into the town I grew up in said they would hang them if found after dark, but in more racist wording. They didn't come down until 1978 in my town.

That's what I'm watching right now too! I rewatch every year or two.

Not me. I set up my server last November and tried Plex. It reminded me too much of too many services starting to lose their way. Given recent events it looks like I was right. We use Kodi because my partner prefers it, but I really like Jellyfin myself. It was a learning process but really only took two or three hours with research time to set up. Costs me nothing and I don't have any ads, upselling, or any other BS that will eventually turn into more extreme attrition.

There's a lot of good suggestions here, but I just wanted to add that I absolutely wouldn't rely on a random eBay seller's warranty in any way. I made that mistake early on in my journey. I came back to find my seller had deleted their account (probably to start another and skip out on warranties).

I mean stopping Windows updates is really more a win than a loss half the time. They've forcefully installed so much of the shitware in Windows 10 updates that makes Windows 11 awful. It took me an hour to strip all the bullshit off of my partner's Windows 10 that he left to auto-update.

Understandable because this is the Internet, but I do not drink enough to be a successful fiction author. I've just had a very interesting life. I would certainly do that if the house was still standing. They tore it down about ten years ago. This was 19 years ago and like I said I thought it was just an old clock radio with the alarm that would wake you up to radio the old man may have plugged in up there. He was pretty senile before he went. He kept his mail in the freezer. He had a tendency to purchase repeat items he didn't need like three of the same retro stereo or 20 cans of coffee each week. My ex and I had spent a couple weeks homeless so I wasn't super tuned in and I thought he was messing with me. We never really had enough evidence to prove anybody actually lived up there. I mean the place was infested with rats and mice so that could have accounted for the noises and I figured they were just slowly taking the valuables out of the place. We didn't stick around for more than a couple of weeks before his crazy mom ran us off. I just wrote it off as the overactive imagination of two people who were struggling and under a lot of pressure.

I took a five year break for this reason. As I embraced being an artist it seemed the only way to know what is going on locally in my stupid medium-sized Texas town is Facebook. Even local government news was only on Facebook. So if I wanted to find calls for art locally to submit for galleries then I had to join. Luckily with two fences and uBlock Origin the only information they get is by logging any text I put in. It's a lot of work to try to maintain my privacy though and no official app ever. I use a couple container apps from F-Droid, but they barely work most of the time so it mostly has to be on Desktop. I've tried to get a few friends to switch to federated apps and they look at me the same way. Even my partner's casino job requires a Facebook account because if you want someone to take a shift for you it's the only way. Also any company news. It should be regulated as a utility.

They need to investigate him. There are images circulating of him harassing parents who spoke ill of him about the situation. Another board member was shown to be protesting the local pride problem that was held, yelling at children and taunting them.

I bought this one, but it's easier if you can find an older one that doesn't have encrypted firmware as mentioned in this evil dirty guide I totally don't recommend :) https://forum.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=19634

They really are both just awful. I've yet to find a search engine as good as Google was 10-15 years ago.

I don't understand why people find DuckDuckGo a good alternative. It's better for privacy yes, but the search results are just as useless and unrelated because they're based on Google which is just a big ad server now. Every result is find 10 "XYZ's" on Amazon or Walmart, or the other results for different companies.
