Politicians never do anything “now” unless it’s in their immediate best interests, and sometimes not even then.

Those things sound possible, but I’m not knowledgeable enough to speculate. Sorry.

Very few people in power give a damn, and even those who do will be shot down by their superiors. Most environmental projects (that aren’t scams) won’t turn enough of a profit in a short enough time for the rich to care.

I’ve tried to remain positive, but it’s getting more difficult every day.

If twitter users think it’s barely tolerable now, they should imagine how bad it’ll get once Trump actually takes office. They need to switch TODAY.

I hope every country does the same.

Well, today’s the 12th. What happened?

Good question. I don’t know, and I’m too lazy to look it up.

I’ve often wondered why I was forced to spend my holidays with people just because our DNA had some similarities.

My guess is that it has to do with the president lots of people speak fondly of, John F. Kennedy. Trump fans want him to be revered in the same way.

Apparently a fan shaded the green witches face to make the movie poster look like the broadway poster. The actress who plays the green witch complained about it online, saying (among other things) that it “erased” her. While I did understand her point, I also thought at the time that it was an overly defensive response, and the worst possible take on something that was probably made by a loyal fan. Importantly, she later apologized for her initial reaction. I respect that. We all get carried away sometimes.
