Nothing like a little Rapid Unscheduled Dissassembly for a Monday arvo.
It's like the beginning of an Arthur C Clarke novel playing out in real life...
Same and I'm already in the office -curls up in the corner and cries-
Easy come, easy go.
Glad for the update so that we can really keep our finger on the pulse of the recovery.
Same situation as me - we had no outage at all, but go a few streets in any direction and it's darkness. A couple of major intersections with no traffic lights this morning.
It's strange because usually when there's a big 'event' we've been among the first to lose power and the last to get it back (often days later), our power seems to be fairly fragile. Have had to make a few spoiled-food insurance claims over the years.
I guess this time we finally got lucky. But I definitely sympathise with those who are without power for a few days, I know what it's like and hope everyone has power back soon.
Haha my wife was under a blanket on the couch when watching TV last night too. I wish I had their resilience to the heat!!!
To be honest, with all the catering you do around here, I think we should all chip in for the food =)
I saw both the Friday messages and was wondering if it was some weird coincidence or not. I actually replied to the reddit one before I saw yours.
But now that i know THE TRUTH, my reply to the Reddit one shall be duly deleted COZ THAT'LL SHOW EM the plagiarising pricks! =)
I've always had a thing for Ash Ferric.
Mail it back (on the company dime of course)
