TBH I didn't know they had affiliation with IGN. Good for them though.
Not an issue, per se. In order to keep the team small they built most the app in a single codebase. It's mostly web code, and the apps are wrappers for it. So it keeps it unified between all clients but it definitely feels like a web wrapper, so it can feel a bit slow or clunky.
Yeah that's true. Never said anything about being happy. Or it being sustainable. Sometimes it's all you can do to survive.
On the bright side being indispensable makes me impervious to layoffs.

This is my own conjecture, but I'm willing to bet that playing nicely with Pres. Trump somehow saves Apple billions more in lost revenue to tariffs and legislation because Trump rewards those who are on his good side. I'm also willing to bet Tim / Apple is pressured to do this and has a very different attitude behind closed doors. Not that this excuses anybody for their actions, but it's clear they're trying to game the system the best they can in the name of "business".
