The US has NPR and PBS but I'm guessing they're not as influential as the CBC is in Canada

I ran into my mail lady when I was getting my mail the other day. Turns out she had just tossed everything a few days before and started lecturing me on not letting my mailbox fill up.

I went there to get a new card that Id been informed was sent a few days ago and asked her how it got so full.

Then I saw all the junk mail she was shoving in and , not thinking, asked her if I could unsubscribe from all the obvious crap because mail is almost useless these days. She got a sad look on her face and I almost felt bad

I don't get how corporate is so detached that they're making these policies. I left my last job about a year ago because a competitor offered 30% more. My manager said they could do 3% and, with regular raises, I'd be at that amount in 10 years. I know his hands were tied and he was just grasping at any reason he could come up with to keep me, but that just makes me even more incredulous that companies are crafting policies like this.

Edit: This job also requires about a year of training to be halfway decent, with multiple business trips overseas, so they didn't even save any money as far as I can tell.

Is there a way to block those bots that just directly link recent Reddit posts from similarly named subs? Or is this a feature you would consider implementing in the future, if feasible? There's generally no interaction on these posts. They get spammed in batches it seems, which clogs my feed, so I'd rather just not see any of them.

Bond needs to be set based on monetary worth. Also I'd think that crimes of this magnitude would necessitate a much larger bail

I was confused until I saw that tiny line at the top. Who the hell is paying 20 bucks for Sriracha. It's like $3.99 where I live lol

How bad did he need $100!? That is essentially worthless in the context of any company, even a small business. I would imagine "essentially worthless" in a company is much closer to 100k

So he should start working for free? Or just retire and not create an app that many people enjoy?
