Not unique to ADHD, perhaps, but the added step is a bigger deal to those with ADHD. Having to stop what I'm doing to make a call makes it more likely that I won't complete my original task. I have trouble completing tasks on a daily basis so needless interruptions like this make me feel more annoyed than would probably be considered reasonable by someone without ADHD .There's also nothing that's terribly unique to ADHD because our symptoms are things that happen to most non-adhd people occasionally turned up in frequency and severity to a debilitating degree.

Happy Birthday, from one old piece of shit to another!

For me it's not the fun kind of super power, like Spider-Man. It's more like The Hulk: can't control when it shows up, can't control when it stops, can't control it while I'm using it and makes me do things I normally wouldn't (like the dishes) and it's usually fueled by strong emotions then followed by a crash.

I also have ADHD and I only use wired headphones so that I don't lose my phone while I'm out of the house. If I've forgotten that I put my phone down and start to walk away, the tugging of the wire alerts me right away. It's been especially useful when I'm using public transportation because losing my phone on the bus is so much more difficult to deal with than if I just lose it around the house somewhere. I do get caught on things a lot and I hate it, but I guess I have more of a tolerance for that than I do losing my phone. So funny to me how the same condition can be so different from person to person!

Nearly every day for me. I love having my headphones on while I walk to work or am on the bus. I had to buy a new phone about a month ago and I exclusively shopped phones that came with a headphone jack.

It's the piece of human excrement that killed my friend and nearly all of her 1st grade students at Sandy Hook Elementary.

If you're worried about being a lazy pos, then you probably aren't. If things are going wrong enough for you to seek out a professional analysis, I truly believe that any pysch specialist worth having will try to figure out why you're feeling the way you are. Even if they rule out ADHD, they could recognize something else is going on and get you treated that way. I hope that's of some consolation; good luck Internet stranger!
