All (or most, don't recognize some) of these are gacha games. You get characters by participating in essentially a slot machine (hence the name "pulling"), more or less. The more powerful characters have lower odds. You can do dailies for pulls or you can spend money to pull more often.

Especially if even if you released it it probably wouldn't change literally a single thing.

I would absolutely love this, I would never answer a call again and it would be completely justified.

"Sorry I didn't answer, I was just in the middle of an urgent task and didn't know how long you wanted the call to last"

"Ask for Angela" is one attempt at a solution but the problem historically has been lack of training for club/bar staff to recognize and respond to the codeword.

Because of the physics and destruction along with all the unique weapons and gadgets each of the 3 classes has, you can be really creative in your play style.

There's multiple modes to play, from more casual ones like power shift, here you try to push a platform from the middle to the enemy side by occupying it while the enemy tries to push it the opposite way. The main game mode is Cashout, which will have you stealing increasingly valuable vaults and depositing them at Cashout stations. Once they're in there, they have a countdown of about a minute or so (I'm not sure about exact timing) during which any other team can try to steal, so it comes down to defending it or losing your cash. Kills also grant cash. Team with the most cash wins.

Ranked play consists of tournaments, several rounds of Cashout where the poorest two of four teams get eliminated at each stage until only two are left.

If you're interested in cosmetics, the game has hands down the best system by far in my opinion and the cosmetics themselves look absolutely gorgeous.

The monetization is generally pretty player friendly, you can buy individual items from a bundle which will then decrease the bundle price by that items value if you decide to get it so there's no pressure to buy bundles but you can always change your mind at no extra cost. You can get previous battle passes now in case you missed them. Only thing is that they have a controversial "premium" battle pass now.

The sponsor system is really fun and provides a fun in-game integration of the lore of the game along with progression systems and free rewards.

There's just a lot of love put into the game and it tries to be on the side of the user. The devs generally listen.

It's the best game that didn't take off in my opinion.

I love this game.

You'll never believe this but I was literally the last person in that line and it still had room. You can tell exactly which one I was because I made mine way bigger since no one else needed the space haha

You're gonna write that without elaborating on first place?

And apparently he didn't even get paid and covered his own travel costs:

Let me start off by saying I am a long time Boost enjoyer on Android. It's the only reason I stayed with reddit all those years. I'm currently using Voyager and the thing that's been keeping me there is just how apps handle image sharing.

Ideally I'd like an option to share images themselves instead of links. Currently I use Voyager through chrome and chrome has this annoyingly amazing feature where when you hold an image, you can just directly share that image to other apps and it even suggests the most recently shared-to app in that menu. It's so amazing and I don't really understand why it's not more common.

In a truly ideal world, I'd love it to automatically include a link to the post in the caption of said image. I know it's possible because H&M of all apps handles this wonderfully.

I know I'm cherry picking on a high level but this feature is so integral to my experience. Love the rest of the app though!

Thanks so much for all the love you put into Boost, Rubén.
