Well, the article's thesis is more that transportation/traffic engineers don't care. DoTs are set up to get grants and spend money, with a focus on throughput. Very little thought is put into safety, and most "safety" best practices are confusing, outdated, or poorly thought out.

I won't be voting for either of the two parties' candidates as long as they remain pro-genocide.

If they want my vote they're more than welcome to come out with a strong stance against genocide.

Pretty low bar. If neither candidate is willing to meet it I can only assume they do not want my vote.

If they don't want my vote they either don't think they need it or they're more committed to genocide than winning the election.

It's their call.

Plenty of places with developed rail networks are still conservative in rural places.

As someone who views prison as rehabilitative and not punitive, I could not disagree more.

Everyone should read The Jakarta Method. The history of the Suharto regime is barely ever discussed in the West, but it was probably the most brutal and murderous American-supported dictatorship excepting maybe Pol Pot.

Like, I know that, because you're a supporter of ethnostates you're already arguing from such a bad faith position this almost isn't worth it, but, even being the genius you are, certainly you would admit that the IDF would never allow Hamas to have actual established military bases even when not at war, right? You do get that? As soon as Hamas said "this is a military training facility" the Israelis would blow it up.

You're acting like there's some way for Hamas to carry out conventional warfare against a vastly more well-resourced occupying force.

A faction other than the right would have to form a government.

they’re too busy wanking off to their own perceived superiority

Unlike all the people commenting on this post!

This is just another stupid online factionalism post. None of what anybody says online (especially on a tiny niche forum) matters one fucking bit.

Antifa, feed the homeless, or get social housing or public transport built

This is what matters. And I guarantee you there are MLs participating in black bloc protests, Food not Bombs, and all sorts of other useful things you can think of, but your tendency doesn't matter when you're actually out there helping people. Did you turn to your fellow protestors and ask them what they think about China or what they think about some shit that happened a hundred years ago? Or did you just do what needed to be done in the moment?

He's racing great and obviously Williams have developed the car and they've been racing on tracks that suit them better.

It's still a nightmare on its tires, though.

Finding loopholes in the rules is a time-honored F1 tradition. Now there are more rules to find loopholes in.
