There's a little detail in the show that I always liked. They didn't shove it in your face and I appreciate the subtlety.

The detail is that there were actually very few groceries in the grocery store. If you look closely, the produce is always very low quality, and there just wasn't that much to choose from. It was a big deal when they got those navel oranges. Not much meats either, and they mostly got canned goods and such. It highlights how shitty their society is without going too overboard. "You might not have noticed, but your brain did."

Mass deportation of our cheap labor supply will do way more to increase cost of groceries than Chinese tariffs ever will. The cold hard truth of it all is that our entire way of life depends on exploiting cheap migrant labor. Democrats don't like to admit it because we don't like that kind of exploitation, and republicans don't like to admit it because they don't like immigrants. But we depend on them as much as we do the laborers in chinese factories, the somewhat educated cheap labor in India, the children in sweatshops in Vietnam, and so on. Our entire economy is based on exploiting someone, somewhere, artifically reducing the cost of living for us.

Return to office mandates would be a lot more palatable if we didn't have to live an hour and a half away in rush hour bumper to bumper traffic because the average person can't afford to live anywhere near the central business district anymore.

Or if we could take nonexistent public transit.

Or if we could ride a bike or walk without getting run over by a moron in their suv.

We have so many issues I don't know where to start. Personally I want to RTO. I'm sick of working from home. But with issues like that..fuck..

The USA is run by unpaid 22 year old interns being supervised by underpaid 24 year olds.

Old people in charge are definitely a problem (McConnell, Feinstein etc) but the people in their offices doing all the heavy lifting are basically children.

I'm always disgusted with tv ads and it blows me away that people just let commercials scream at them all day to buy viagra, anal leakage meds, insurance etc. Why would you let that shit in your home? Ugh

The guy got up on stage ON ELECTION NIGHT before the votes had even been counted and started screaming about fraud. I remember Mike Huckabee on CNN condemning it, as well as the Faux News team covering it, because it was just unthinkable. Then they got their story straight and remembered who's ass their tongue is buried in, and fell in line. Bunch of traitors, the lot of them.

My hot take: I find transgenderism to be weird. I don't get it. It weirds me out. I suspect I'm incapable of understanding.

Here's the thing though: it doesn't matter what I think. None of my fucking business. They can do what they want. Why is this a national issue?!? I find it weird, yes, but building a political ideology around hating them for it, that's WAY weirder. And more dangerous.

Americans love freedom right? I'm having trouble thinking of anything more free than waking up a man and going to sleep a woman. Yes, I find it odd. But I'll fight to the death their right to practice their flavor of odd.
