That's why he's got a diaper on. Helps keep it in place and catches it if it slips out.

I mean, there is still kind of a point being made with respect to monetization of social media... something which is insanely controversial on Mastodon.

Bring up something more minor like showing ads to cover server costs and it's like tossing a grenade in and shutting the door.

I keep thinking how she's basically the IRL version of Firecracker from The Boys, especially with how they've been doubling down on how Homelander is Trump.

Senator Kelly's replacement would be required by Arizona law to be a Democrat appointed by the Governor (also currently a Democrat). The special election to replace the replacement wouldn't be until 2026. If he's the right one for the job, it might be worth potentially taking a hit 2 years into a Harris administration.

The apps hadn't been so thoroughly ruined by Match Group yet. OKCupid used to publish interesting detailed reports about dating habits. Plenty of Fish wasn't full of bots and scammers. The apps that charged you for basic features were largely avoided. The experience was weird and new.

The dating app landscape as it is now is basically just whichever is the latest one until Match acquires it.

The fun thing is that people say "I graduated" or "I'm graduating" but it's technically more correct to say "I am being graduated (by the university)." I might be mixing it up a bit, but the idea is that the university always has the final say over whether or not you get that important piece of paper at the end.

One of my teachers in high school taught us this, but I never actually thought I'd see it in action. It's cruel.

The last time the Mongolians decided to expand their horizons, it didn't work out so well for a decent chunk of the rest of the world. I think it's perfectly fine they choose to keep things simple, tbh.

Fun fact about Wisconsin: the Republicans were furious that a Democrat was going to be elected after Scott Walker's fascist stint, so they rushed through several legislative changes to limit the powers of the incoming governor as a final middle finger to democracy.
