got curious when I realized my bandaid was somehow touchscreen compatible, despite seemingly just being a piece of cloth. nitrile gloves work (7mil thick), and I've even got relatively thick work gloves that work.

there's so many people that own 5+ shitboxes, but there's no way they're paying over a grand a year to insure all of them. is there something where you pay less to add on a car? obviously you can't drive all 5 at once, so is there something where like only one at a time is covered for collisions, and the rest only if like a tree falls on them while parked? asking bc I'd like to be one of those people that own 5+ shitboxes. thanks :)

I've figured out how to enable and disable AOD through ADB (adb shell settings put secure doze_always_on 0). I can toggle this using a quick settings tile through Always On Display Toggle. However, I'd like to set Easer to run that command whenever my phone is charging past a certain time. I know I can run the command locally through Shinzuku and aShell You, and I know my event trigger is working, as I have it sending me notifications, but I just can't get Easer to run that command.

Reason I'm doing this is because GrapheneOS doesnt have a bedtime mode, and I'd like for AOD to turn itself off at night.

Please lmk if there are better magazines to post this is

Thanks

Even though i have Proton VPN blocking trackers and use firefox with arkenfox EFF always says my browser has a unique fingerprint. Same with Mullvad browser and Tor. When I switched Tor to "Safer" it said near unique fingerprint, and only when i switched it to safest did it say i am protected from fingerprinting

from my results id guess that it has no fingerprit thanks to no javascript, but 90% of websites are useless without js

Not sure if this is the right mag, but m/proton has very few members. lmk if i should move/delete this, thanks

I'm on proton unlimited and I turned on Dark Web Monitoring. I figure since i use bitwarden for my password manager, i need to manually sync my passwords so proton can monitor for them. what about more important stuff like adresses, DOB, SSN, etc? proton says here that they can monitor for all that stuff, but how, if they dont have it?

I was planning a trip recently, so what I did was save all the places I wanted to go to into a list, and Maps would put a little pin there, and then I could use that to see what was close to one another (I'll add a screenshot later)

I dont think osm has a feature like that

while were here, what do you all use in mobile?

Our garage flooded last night (not the first time) and so I want to install some water sensors in the garage and basement. There's dumb ones that look similar to a smoke detector, but all they do is make noise, which I'm willing to bet I won't hear since I can barely hear the smoke detector in the kitchen when I'm upstairs. thats why I want a smart system so it rings an alarm on my phone as well, though if there was something with like a repeater I could install upstairs that would work too. thanks all

If I just look up "what genre is _____" it'll be very broad like "edm" or "pop" but I'd like to know if this is house or techno or d&b etc so I can start narrowing down my tastes

thanks guys

edit: Rate Your Music seems to be what I was looking for

The Federated Learning of Cohorts and now the Topics API are part of a plan to pitch an "alternative" tracking platform, and Google argues that there has to be a tracking alternative—you can't just not be spied on.
