While we are at it, let's make sure they also run Electron since so many companies use it.

Can I introduce you to our lord and savior Flatpak?

[-] symcal@lemmy.world 17 points 1 year ago

Chevy Volt according to Wikipedia has something like 16.5 kWh.

I don't know how big your house/flat is and for how much power your AC unit is rated for, but it should be enough for at least 3-5 hours under a full load for a rather powerful multi split AC unit.

If you keep in mind that AC doesn't draw full power to keep an already cool room cool, your car might be just enough to keep the AC running through the night or majority of daylight hours.

No system be it either communism or capitalism can be applied 100%

If we compare today's capitalism it's only fair that we compare it to real world application of communism.

As a Pole that was raised in a country freshly out of this system I can only tell you that you would have to be mentally insane to ever consider communism and expect it to work even half as well is it should on paper.

Man, at this point I just hope I don't see any lootboxes with limited time features in a car.

Because recession is coming and they want you to pay them more by giving you no alternatives.

Welcome to latest stage of capitalism.

Brother also has those EcoTank-like printers.

Even if it is not a laser, ink Brother printers are also bulletproof and as everybody says they work like a charm.

Classic russian behavior, play the victim even though you are the aggressor.

[-] symcal@lemmy.world 27 points 1 year ago

No, the one being petty and childish is the Russian who puts out a hand to a person which country is being occupied by theirs.

By competing under a Russian flag (or any flag for that matter) you represent a country and it's ideas. The "petty and childish" stance is not being ashamed of what your country does to others, not the other way around.

If that means I can get consistent crazy performance on a 55W laptop chip then I don't see a problem. Once we hit the limit of Moore's law I suspect we will see many clever innovations and I personally can't wait.
