inb4 snap bad, they are bash scripts. Anyone can delete any command they don't like.
Agreed. I was inspired to make this masterpiece while reading the comments on my previous meme.
I've used GIMP to create all of my memes. It's just fine, even if the UI can be unintuitive.
It lacks features compared to Photoshop, which is a reference to the fact that 2 developers maintain the core features of it.
It can be sad to realize that perfect privacy and security can't be achieved, but on the other hand, what you can't change are things such as Intel ME, proprietary blobs in android or the linux kernel. It still pisses me off, but unless the FBI specifically targets me, there's no reason to worry about this, and so I don't. I instead focus on minimizing data collection, and being in control of my software, which is doable.
Manufacturers install Windows as the default OS. And it's safe to assume that a modern gaming PC would have W11 pre-installed.
Linux Mint. I made the logo seem worn down as to indicate that the USB has been used a lot.
As far as I know, Lemmy doesn't allow the deletion of content. https://www.reddit.com/r/privacy/comments/1b6g219/psa_you_cant_delete_photos_uploaded_to_lemmy_so/
You should however be able to overwrite your posts. So when you delete them, change every field to random nonsense.
It's an attempt to parody the meme format where people take two similarly looking characters and put Science Blaster (Game Theory's theme song) in the background, implying that the two characters are the same. Such as this one.
A lot of people around me are genuinely confused when your email is not firstname.lastname@gmail.com
, as they mostly just use it for confirming logins. That's how bad the situation is.
May I ask what do you mean by android not allowing ad blockers? You can set up a private DNS and set it to one that blocks ads. A very simple thing to do.
I politely disagree. Finding the Core ISO is harder than the Server/Desktop ones. https://ubuntu.com/download/core
There's a Build Your Core button. And that takes you to a docs page that lets you download a pre-built image. I think it's pretty obvious that this is not the Desktop Ubuntu.
