Does your ISP happen to be Xfinity/Comcast?

I wanted to do the same thing and found I was not able to do so on the modem.

That kick started my homelab adventure because I wanted more control over my home network, which I got all setup and is working the way I want it to...but then while I was working on figuring out port forwarding, I found that they moved that ability along with other stuff into the Xfinity app.

Nice!

I am running a T320 for my media stack, has 64GB RAM and about 5TB disk space.

Just discovered this morning that it has the worst possible CPU in it (E5-1410 4/8 core), found a E5-2470 V2 for $10 with free shipping, that will give me 10/20 cores.

Also run a R710 with 192GB RAM with 8 SSD's for a game server. Got my hands on a pair of X5680's for cheap which gives me 24 cores to play with.

Homelab is fun :)
