Yeah encrypt it or at least put on a nsfw tag or something. Gosh. People flaunt their privates like it's Onlyfans.

The problem with these rage inducing subreddits is that they seldom seem to propose or encourage any solution or alternative. So it ends up becoming a kind of circle jerk of learned helplessness.

It seems like a common internet thing. Rage bait and learned helplessness. We learn to accept that there's nothing to do because people and politicians are idiots because "look at all this stuff".

And often this aligns with advertising tech because it makes us engaged and seeking comfort of continued scrolling when we get a steady stream of anxiety injections. It's low key like an abusive relationship.

An even less popular opinion: if you care enough about climate change to not have children you should have children. The alternative is that only people who don't care about climate change will have children.

Anyways, the fertility rate has dropped very quickly all over the developed world and the world is turning developed quickly. I'm not saying that will solve climate change but it looks like overpopulation is at least going to be solved.

That is hardly an unpopular opinion.

As i understand it Linus has at least acknowledged that his tone has been very problematic and has been working on the way he expresses himself.

I read it as making fun of hustle culture.

I mean that is a good reason to celebrate.

Heh, this was quite clever.

They're all quite good.

Hamas terrorist attacks sucked. Bombing whole city blocks in retaliation sucks. Indeed.

Personally I'm astonished how many seems to find it easy picking a side. The more I learn the less I feel sure about anything except that the whole situation sucks.

Picking a side sucks. Not picking a side sucks. I'm glad I don't have political influence for this one.

I like how your suggestions successively became more radical.

But, Julian calendar? Still a rookie I see.

The calendar year has 13 months with 28 days each, divided into exactly 4 weeks (13 × 28 = 364). An extra day added as a holiday at the end of the year (after December 28, i.e. equal December 31 Gregorian), sometimes called "Year Day", does not belong to any week and brings the total to 365 days.

I suspect about 1% of the world cares enough to even have this discussion though.

Not only are monkeys as intelligent as small kids. All monkey species are at least a thousand times as rare as humans.

These experiments sound like they've been done by people who don't know what they're doing?
