The setting is still on my Windows 10 PC. It’s still relevant since they’re still shipping it with Windows.

It’s not, at least not on a Mac. It refreshes automatically, I honestly haven’t refreshed my apps in months outside of upgrading to iOS 17.

The ability to go “spectator mode” and see many events throughout history unfold in front of your face would be an amazing power.

I’m sure you have the options disabled that show this kind of stuff but it doesn’t mean it’s not there. Anyone who is not tech savvy (99% of the population) will have no clue how to turn this stuff off or that it’s even an option.

I guarantee any PC sold by any big box store or on Amazon will come with this stuff enabled by default.

Have you ever opened the start menu? There are ads there. Unless you’re using some release like LTSC or have a network-level Adblock there are ads in there. For TikTok, candy crush, Disney+, etc. it’s like the preinstalled bloat on some androids, they’re just ads you have to annoyingly remove from your start menu.

Wow it’s true. Linux users are like vegans. You never have to wonder because they’ll tell you they are whether you care or not

lol didn’t parts of California flood last year/earlier this year? Why even bother calling them “10-year floods” when we can expect them annually or even more frequently

You can sideload Apollo? :o

This is referring to the vast majority of users. At least for a few years

The “vast majority of users” do not know what RAM is and they don’t know what expandable memory means. Nor will they ever open their own laptops. If the laptop is slow after a few years they will just get a new one.

Yep. They use and sell your data whether you block ads or not. So they’re still making money off of those of us who block ads. I don’t owe them anything lmao. It’s sad seeing so many people in other threads defending YouTube/Google while they’re increasing the price of premium and locking shit like background play and higher bitrates behind a paywall all while selling out data. Nah fuck em

These kinds of remakes are for the original fans as much as a new audience. There are MANY people who write off animation entirely.

This is to expose new people to the story and hopefully some of those people will check out the original and see that animation is for everyone not just children.

Yes it’s unfortunate Biden is still the democratic front runner. But he’s not on stage saying how old and dementia-ridden his opponent is only to have major mental fumbles minutes later lmao.

Trump is really using the GOP namesake here- Gaslight, Obstruct, Project

HDOS has released their RuneLite plugin system into open beta. If you don’t know this client is a recreation of the 2009/2010 era client that contains the original HD update released in 2008.

The developers have also “remastered” several OSRS exclusive regions to be correctly textured and have that classic HD look.

Sadly if you’ve converted over to a Jagex account you cannot use this client yet. While it’s an approved third-party client it has not as of yet been added to the Jagex launcher.
