The initial reports of this made it sound much worse, now it seems so tame this charge borders on ludicrous. I walked about 2 miles to my bus stop as a kid with no side walk and it was ABSOLUTELY unsafe, but we didn't have a choice as the roads were no outlet and too narrow for a bus to get into my neighborhood. I never saw a kid get hit, but I knew of multiple adults that were hit by a car with a few fatalities. I still think this Georgia story sounds dumb, so either we're being deprived of details or the police are being ridiculous.

Its not a drip machine though, it's more like a Chemex that doesn't require you to do the pouring.

The analogy works well since its Debian-like, but way more awesome. The Moccamaster is great. As easy to use as a drip, but makes better coffee than the Chemex.

To be fair, it made slightly more sense in the comics, though still batshit. In the comics there was no noble purpose like they tried to shoehorn in for the MCU. IIRC, Thanos was literally doing it to impressed Death (the cosmic entity) to gain her affection.

I had Shining Force Gaiden for the Game Gear and it was probably my most played game on the system. I wonder how different this version is, not that I'd remember it much at this point.

Anon is absolutely exaggerating for comic effect. That doesn't mean Java doesn't have all of those problems though, it just isn't as ridiculous as they made it out unless you get dragged into enterprise bullshit (then you're in for it).

Congrats, you're already a much better screen writer than anyone at Marvel.

We've had this thing hammering our servers. The scraper uses randomized user-agents browser/OS combinations and comes from a number of distinct IP ranges in different datacenters around the world, but all the IPs track back to Bytedance.

I am almost certain that steam keys are actually free to developers, which is the whole reason for the policy.

Screw you Google. Enjoy your antitrust.

I feel like this error message was targeted at a very specific, very annoying user that can't be ignored.

Sadly all the branches have one at the schools. I made the mistake of taking the ASVAB test in high school to get out of class, scored well and was hounded by all of these guys. The marine recruiter showed up at my house carrying a CRT TV/VHS combo to try and convince me to join lol
