Entitled bimbo chain-smokes in her car and never wears her seatbelt explaining she doesn't need it because she is a good driver.

Then she goes on to rear end another car after dropping a lit cigarette down her cleavage while driving, and gets partially ejected because she wasn't wearing her seatbelt.

Considered making this about overuse of the Borg throughout the series, but that fruit was a little too low hanging. Also, I appreciate the light-hearted callback of carving out a smiley face in a situation of imminent danger.

Boomer Tory wants to see house prices rise, what a surprise.

Totally tone deaf muppet.

From Library of Congress.

At the National Museum of Transportation in Kirkwood, Missouri.

Edit to add more context from the museum site:

The stage coach-style passenger coach of Boston & Providence Railroad was designed and built by John Lightner in Boston & Providence Railroad shops. The Boston & Providence Railroad Coach is the oldest original American railway passenger coach. Built in 1833, resembling an early stagecoach, it has four wheels and is constructed of wood, with an iron frame and leather straps supporting the body. The car was made three years after the first U.S. Steam locomotive was built in 1830. At first horse-drawn, it was later pulled behind the first steam engine that traveled between Boston, MA and Providence, RI. The coach was exhibited with the "Daniel Nason" locomotive at the World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago (1893) and in New York (1939-1940). In 1982, it was among 8,500 items auctioned from the estate of a wealthy businessman. That year it was contributed to the Museum by the "Friends of the Danbury Collection."

With a privacy protecting setup, the mainstream internet is almost unusable. To sign up for social media or even a gmail account, one has to provide a phone number for verification. Youtube doesn’t work when not signed into a Google account, or if one is connected to a VPN. Even downloader programs like yt-dlp and freyr have been rendered useless by the strict access controls of the major platforms. There is a vast amount of community, DIY, and educational material of all sorts behind these platform walls, so how can someone who doesn’t want to be tracked access any of it these days?

There are alternatives like archive.org and peertube which are wonderful but have nowhere near the amount of content that people have been uploading to YouTube over the years. For example, if I need to fix a washing machine and there is a tutorial on YouTube, how can I see it while still preserving a modicum of privacy online?

Watched my niece yesterday and while we were playing Minecraft she noticed that my laptop "windows n stuff" didn't look lik the schools computers and I told her about linux and she got rly interested and now she wants a laptop "just lik mine" which is runnin Linux Mint

She's somewhat technical apt, for a 10 year old, and I could probs dig up a decent laptop for her but not sure if I should jus dump mint on a laptop for her and let her have at it or something else?

This was on our second day of Gamescom on Friday when I went as a melee minion from League of Legends to match my SO's "Neeko disguising herself as a minion" cosplay. Had I met them a day earlier, I would have matched them with my White Shirt outfit. I didn't get their name, but I asked to get a picture taken of us because it looked so awesome.

The weapon is self-made out of PVC pipes, probably some foams or rubbers, and carton. It was super heavy! The coat was also sewn by themselves - incredible work. And the arm prosthetic too.

I also met another person cosplaying the same outfit I did the day before just with a little more detail than I did. Was awesome talking to them. :)

Felt cool to have seen two other people wearing a Lies of P cosplay, I felt seen. :)
