Here's hoping the female characters have more than one dimension to their personality aren't included simply for inclusivity's sake.

Tiddies have three dimensions… four if you include bouncing over time
Judging from the trailer, where there seems to be one female character who is the super-generic designated audience insert character, I wouldn't get your hopes up. They could have done literally anything with their character designs, and they went with the blandest, indistinguishable anime girl look.
What should they say instead? I'm OOTL
Telling me you didn't watch the trailer without actually telling me you didn't watch the trailer
I got pretty far into it before I turned it off. I don't typically watch trailers for things that I'm interested in because most of the time they reveal too much of what happens in the show/movie/game.
Edit: I mean, downvote me all you want, I'm just stating a hope for the series, sorry if that offends you.
Plus, even if you would have watched the whole thing, there is no guarantee for anything. Trailers are a marketing ploy to get you interested, hyped or otherwise engaged in the topic. Often enough have trailer and finished product deviated from one another. To beat a dead horse, cyberpunk or no man's sky, while apparently good now the backlash on release was due to marketing, misleading trailers and so on.
I watched the trailer and he still has a point. It could easily be another Rings of Power situation.
What, pray tell is that situation?
