Am I reading this wrong... Or does the article say this is an issue because people are trying to refill the alcohol while the fire is lit?

Who tries to refill liquid alcohol with an actively burning fire?

Unless that was somehow stated as a feature that isn't working correctly I don't see how this isn't just incompetence and lack of common sense.

Normally I'd agree, however they mentioned alcohol fires can be invisible, so I think it's a design flaw in this case. That said, I may be wrong, as my wife is in charge of Fire in our marriage.

I think that was only part of it. The other part is this:

Alcohol can also splash, spill or leak out of the fire pit reservoir during use, causing a flash fire that can spread and create larger, hotter flames that can escape the unit.

Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.


9. No link shorteners.


The auto mod will contact you if a link shortener is detected, please delete your post if they are right.


10. Don't copy entire article in your post body
