Most likely, you wouldn’t. I’ve had people say that to me about celiac disease (as in, no gluten aka wheat/barley/rye). Maybe not, but I’d guess you have more to live for than eating red meat.
As someone who has trialed both gluten-free and low FODMAP diets, among others, to try to determine the source of digestive problems: gluten-free is not that bad. Low FODMAP, however....
Yeah, that’s even more restrictive because it’s such a large list of vegetables. The effects of screwing it up are not quite as severe as celiac, though. Either one makes most restaurants or food other people cook really difficult.
