Am I blind or does the article not say how exactly the dweebtruck prevented the rescue?

I am assuming they got locked inside it and it would not let them out. But I've seen that happen in movies with fossil fuel cars (yes sorry that is the only benchmark I have). Or it could be the burning aspect of lithium batteries.

From the way it's worded I think it's the fire. Lithium fires are really hard to put out.
