Interesting. I wonder if this is a beginning of a climb down for the Very Serious People so that we can eventually make a peace deal.

Looks like that's the direction things are moving in. Now that the US and Russia reestablished diplomatic relations and are working on a settlement, US media is crafting a narrative in support of that.
