Even more tragic, whatever peace deal emerges after the war will be worse for Ukraine than the Minsk accords that Zelensky foolishly abandoned due to his political ambitions and naïve expectation of bottomless U.S. support.

This is just them taking an L to make Trump look good. The liberals love to lose and prop up fascists.

Is "The Hill" going to be labelled as a Russian asset now? The article does indeed contain a shocking amount of truth, and completely contradicts the western narrative for the last 3 years.

I think I've already seen libs dismissing The Hill as Russian propaganda. Basically any reporting that runs contrary to the propaganda they've been guzzling for the past three years is immediately dismissed.

the hill and the first dozen or so other sources that corroborate it will be labeled as russian assets; but once it becomes a super majority of sources that say the same thing, then none will be labeled as such.

the problem is: most will just use selective amnesia about ukraine going forward and never bother to learn of the truth about what caused this war.

They could go the Qanon route and just make all their conspiracies about Russia rather then "the deepstate".

Maybe the majority of Americans will have selective amnesia, as they do every few months, but committed libs may as well be a cult just as delusional as MAGA.

Interesting. I wonder if this is a beginning of a climb down for the Very Serious People so that we can eventually make a peace deal.

Looks like that's the direction things are moving in. Now that the US and Russia reestablished diplomatic relations and are working on a settlement, US media is crafting a narrative in support of that.

Could also be an attempt to get Trump's attention given the pressure on universities that's happening

Keeping this article in my back pocket for the libs in my life
