So? He’s a fucking multi millionaire & landlord. And right now he’s a fucking grifter and squatter. Is the free market gonna help his non-verbal autistic daughter that he trots out whenever knowledge of her will serve him politically? FUCK. THIS. GRIFTER. MISINFO. DECEITFUL. LYING. OBSTRUCTIONIST. What does that have to do with his kids? Do rich kids not have feelings?
Moving twice in six months probably won't help her.
None of those are good reasons he should move out for the time it takes him to get a seat back, you're just angry at the guy.

So is your problem that the leader of the opposition gets a house at all, or is it this period where he's not got a seat but it staying anyway?
Or just that he in particular is getting a house?
The point is not to unpack why PP is a problem. The point is - that he is a problem. I gave one good reason earlier, that suffices. He’s a hypocrite.
If we're debating what "the point" is, it looks to me like pettiness is the point. Why else would someone get emotionally invested into an issue that isn't even bothering Poilievre's own personal political rivals?
Rich kids are still children and not political pawns. And hypocrisy is the least of my concerns around the party shamelessly espousing shitty values, but a meaningful concern around the parties and leaders that claim to be better.
If you're so deeply invested in extracting your pound of flesh, endorse making him pay rent between leadership positions. Alternatively, just choose an issue to champion that is considerably more...productive.
He uses his autistic daughter as a prop. That’s a problem. He also lies about his wife sometimes she’s French, sometimes she’s a Latin American refugee (who somehow failed upward into a job at Parliament 🙄). Fact is her social media is full of right wing spew saying she’s gonna be “First Lady of Canada” which clearly demonstrates the American slant of it all. So glad these fucking grifters are not near power any longer . Can’t wait until the CPC turf PP to the curb. Tick tock PP.
