okay, but why do you suppose he described the proverbial "welfare queen" as soon as someone posted a meme about a thing men do?

Because both genders do it and it's only fair to point out that it's not only the one in the post, exactly as valid as if that comment was the OP and someone commented about men doing it

I don't think it's the same. I'm pretty sure if you made a post of that guys comment or something approximate, it would seem very childish without context. perhaps we should try it as an expirament in a couple days?

but there's a precedent for this inequality is kind of known to normal people. that women are only now developing wild standards in late modernity after being culturally compelled into dating utter slags but men have always had pretty stupid and arbitrary concepts of beauty that we learn from television screens.
