Work Reform

A place to discuss positive changes that can make work more equitable, and to vent about current practices. We are NOT against work; we just want the fruits of our labor to be recognized better.
Our Philosophies:
- All workers must be paid a living wage for their labor.
- Income inequality is the main cause of lower living standards.
- Workers must join together and fight back for what is rightfully theirs.
- We must not be divided and conquered. Workers gain the most when they focus on unifying issues.
Our Goals
- Higher wages for underpaid workers.
- Better worker representation, including but not limited to unions.
- Better and fewer working hours.
- Stimulating a massive wave of worker organizing in the United States and beyond.
- Organizing and supporting political causes and campaigns that put workers first.

Imagine “working” in space, finally unburdened by the restraints of labor law, workers rights, or those pesky wages. Pay no mind to the fact that all communication will be controlled by your enslaver, since no earth-bound authority will be able to save you anyways
16 Tons (Youtube) / Nadeko (invidious) / Invidious mirror selection (written by Merle Travis, Tennessee Ernie Ford recording)
Bonus wikipedia link for rabbit-hole divers.
*please note: on asteroid 786-gamma 16 tons is many times what it would be on Earth, due to the low gravity.
I'd eat my last sock for low gravity even if it meant taking a pay cut. Well, maybe not, depends on how much of a cut we're talking. Try loading a ton a day on the neutron line when the grav compensator is on the fritz and you'll be missing that cushy asteroid life.
