Somebody had a link to a kill charlie kirk themed groyper site and I think all the bullet etched memes were there. The kids grandma said she didn't know any democrats and republicans don't kill each other so they must have arrested the wrong kid. He is a registered republican and donated to trump*
A classmate called him a reddit kid as of 4-5 years ago (right wingers are circulating a redacted misquote that a classmate called him a "leftist") Like even if the kid wasn't a groyper he was likely being egged on by groypers.
There's also this article going into different ties:https://www.thecanary.co/trending/2025/09/12/charlie-kirk-suspect-is-a-gun-loving-trump-supporter/
All in all he's at the very least alt right.
*this last one may be a name mixup
Do you know the website or the name of it? I tried to find it online or archived and can't.
Because that would put this whole thing to rest if we had screenshots of a groyper website with those specific bullet messages. If it exists I'm surprised the news isn't all over it.
Editing because I found this: https://www.groyperarmy.com/
It just leads to a shitcoin that was launched a few months ago.
He was not registered republican. He did not donate to trump. He has a pretty common first and last name. Some people found someone with the same name in the voter and donor databases, but on further review it was someone else.
The most current word from most publications seems to say that the shooter did not donate to trump, and was not registered with a party affiliation, and was an inactive voter not voting in the past few elections.
I don't this this says much about his political ~~affiliation~~ leaning. Young people rarely have the disposable income to donate to political campaigns, and because of how american elections work with fptp districts, voting in a red state in a red city where 75% of the population votes republican would make no difference in the outcome, regardless of leaning.
Most voters in this country are not able to make a meaningful choice at the ballot box, which is a contributing factor to the pitifully low voter turnout.
As disappointed as I am, I don't see any concrete evidence to support the shooter is alt-right.
Best summary that I've come accros is this one on PolitiFact.
There's no clear proof so far to show he's a groyper or right-wing in general. But this source at least explains very clearly how the messages engraved on the bullets can hardly be taken as indicators of left-wing stance, and that they rather show that the intention of the killer was to dog-whistle to some friends and to confuse as many parts of the public as possible (see the last section "Internet finds meanings for mysterious etchings on bullet casings"). From that, the vibe he gives me that he's an alt-right 4chan edgelord kind of guy, but proof for this has yet to come.
The meme/edgelord stuff alone screams 4chan or similar. I've just not seen a site with even a left-ish bend where you could radicalize somebody like this.
Meme bullet etchings even on reddit would be an immediate ban or moderation because it shows people online are manipulating somebody who has an obsession with guns. Almost certainly mass shooter behavior.
You are disregarding that the bullet text inscriptions are common alt-right memes? That the suspected killer is from a conservative family upbringing?
Or you don't believe those inscriptions have nothing to do with the alt-right movements? That the conservative family is also to be disregarded?
Now about more evidence of participation of the killer in alt-right movements, or other links, you can be damn sure the current US administration is not really intereesting in making any of that public anymore, since it goes against the current administration propaganda. If it was some "leftist" you can be damn sure there would be a deep investigation into the killers electronics, internet activity, and etc, to find other "leftists" and politicians to associate with him and ALL that would be publicized by Donald Trump himself.
The lack of evidence is not evidence.
The family's beliefs don't indicate what he believed, either.
I really need a link or something that proves these are Groyper memes, published more than a week ago, because I'm not going to believe they are until I find that information.
He could be ultra right wing, I'm not saying he isn't. I'm saying the evidence is bad.
Are "Hey fascist, catch", and "Bella ciao" alt-right memes? I know at least "Bella ciao" is an anarchist thing.
I've definitely seen some people say that nick fuentes called charlie kirk a fascist. I'm not going to sort through hours of footage on this though. Like most the alt right calls leftists fascist, this can be seen everywhere from alex jones to like all the right wing youtubers. Groypers see kirk as a leftist.
And "groyper war" (the groyper website dedicated to harassing charlie kirk) definitely had bella ciao memes.
Like I think with this shooter the memes all being from that site would be a hell if a coincidence if they're not related.
