Well they do say that's why betamax failed. I think in reality it's fairly was a bit more complicated than that, but it can't have helped.
And blu-ray over HD-DVD, although I've heard a couple of Sony fanboy rants telling me how wrong I am, so take it fwiw.
I told them they should have gone with Alphamax but nobody wanted to hear it once the Sigmamax schism happened.
If you buy one of those then you'd better give up on ever sleeping with actual woman ever again.
