To British people, the third world is their playground, where they can visit and act like they own the place
That sounds like you think "the third world" is some group that collectively decides on the same thing. But at the same time you haven't given them any agency otherwise they would ban tourists from entering.
I mean, generally speaking, the people who face the consequences of policy the most are not the people who decide on the policy.
Oh you’re right I’ll just forget about the centuries of genocide and racism against my people 🤷♂️
What the fuck does this have to do with a guy riding a bike through a few countries for a YouTube channel my guy
It doesn't, the dude is just racist and too much of a coward to even own up to it. So he tries to hide it behind made-up 'justifications' like wars that never happened, or colonization of places that famously couldn't be colonized.
By tourists?
Nepal is one of the few countries they tried to conquer but couldn't. Instead, they hired them as mercenaries.

There is a Nepalese regiment in the British army; just in case you were unaware that Nepal is well known and respected in (much of) the UK population.
Why do you think that is? You colonized them
You need to reread your history book because that literally never happened.
Interesting. So every single account of the Anglo-Nepalese war is incorrect. I shall get on to every credible historian and point out this error. Thank you for your help.
How did that lodge itself in there?
Guy here is acting like tourism is the same as conquering a place
Never heard of a neo colony and how many subjugated financially and quietly, not guns and boots on the ground. But if you’re English you love colonialism so I can’t change your views of that
I'm not but you go right on assuming things about other people if it supports your worldview I guess
Maybe to some, I'd be super anxious
That's how tourism works yes
