I dont think 30 is that old
Yeah I have a couple questions with the first being, how dare they?
We're only* 30% of the way through our lives
Median life expectancy in the US is 79 for women, and 73 for men. So, 30 is more like 38-41% of the way through your life.
Nah, if you make it to 30, your life expectancy goes way up. Life expectancy includes infant deaths and whatnot, so it goes up as you age.
When I look up life expectancy for myself, it projects I'll live into my 90s.
Life expectancy seems pretty misunderstood, and I used to be one who misunderstood it. Most people don't know it changes as you age. Your life expectancy at birth is not what it is now, and won't be what it is if you live 20 more years.
