"He says he will require local law enforcement agencies that receive Justice Department grants to use controversial policing measures such as stop-and-frisk. As a deterrent, he says local police should be empowered to shoot suspected shoplifters in the act. “Very simply, if you rob a store, you can fully expect to be shot as you are leaving that store,” he said in one recent speech."

Literally just wants to turn it into a shithole country. Skipping chopping hands off and just skip to execution.

So out of curiosity, what does he say should happen to people who defraud banks and other investors by falsifying documents and ledgers?

They should be sentenced to 50 weeks at a Trump golf club.

Surprisingly they get sent to bed early with a hot toddy and a BJ.

Sounds like they have money and as such should be above the law.

He says he will require local law enforcement agencies that receive Justice Department grants to use controversial policing measures such as stop-and-frisk.

So he wants to suspend/dismiss US Citizen's 4th Amendment right (as ruled by the US Supreme Court in Terry v. Ohio).

As a deterrent, he says local police should be empowered to shoot suspected shoplifters in the act.

And he wants to suspend/dismiss the 5th, 6th, and 14th amendments of the Constitution which is the "innocent until proven guilty" parts as well as Article I, Section 9 of the Constitution which guarantees the right of habeas corpus which is the right to a fair trial.

When trump said he had "no duty to support the Constitution" apparently he was truly showing us who he was.

To quote Maya Angelou:

"When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time."

Apparently the new vocabulary is "vermin".

"When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time."

This also goes for the people who hear the things Trump is saying and continue to say he should be put in charge.

[-] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 20 points 1 year ago

Stealing a loaf of bread to feed your starving family, starving because of Trump's economic policies, will be a death sentence. Hooray.

[-] CileTheSane@lemmy.ca 23 points 1 year ago

being suspected of stealing a loaf of bread is a death sentence.

[-] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 16 points 1 year ago

And I got into it in another thread with multiple people who still think Hillary would have been just as bad or worse than Trump. Baffling.

[-] ghostdoggtv@lemmy.world 6 points 1 year ago

They don't even have to accuse you of nothing, they'll just shoot you dead from behind while you're trying to grab a box of cheerios from the shelf
