Could somebody explain this?

[-] robotica@lemmy.world 48 points 10 months ago

Plan B is a pill that you take after somebody cums in you to prevent a pregnancy. Since plan A is to use protection, plan B is used when, for some reason, you could not have used protection.

[-] Sasha@lemmy.blahaj.zone 48 points 10 months ago

Or your protection broke, it happens...

[-] random_character_a@lemmy.world 13 points 10 months ago

I got the impression he wants to try one.

[-] activ8r@sh.itjust.works 9 points 10 months ago

He does. Which raises.... Questions...

[-] DragonTypeWyvern@literature.cafe 13 points 10 months ago

Some people just love popping pills

The more non-descript the better

[-] Viking_Hippie@lemmy.world 25 points 10 months ago

somebody cums in you to prevent a pregnancy

Seems kinda counter-intuitive if you ask me..

[-] feedum_sneedson@lemmy.world 17 points 10 months ago

Condoms break ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

[-] Viking_Hippie@lemmy.world 14 points 10 months ago

I'm aware. What I was joking about was the ambiguous wording that could be taken to mean that someone came in someone in order to prevent pregnancy. Potentially analogous to turning on a lamp to prevent light ๐Ÿ˜›

[-] robotica@lemmy.world 5 points 10 months ago

I also had to do a double take after I wrote it, because it didn't make sense to me either ๐Ÿ˜†

Fight fire with fire, my man.

[-] Viking_Hippie@lemmy.world 2 points 10 months ago

Reminds me of this passage from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy:

The renewed shock had nearly made him spill his drink. He drained it quickly before anything serious happened to it. He then had another quick one to follow the first one down and check that it was all right.

[-] ignotum@lemmy.world 13 points 10 months ago

Well, i don't want to get pregnant soo..

Gotta do what i gotta do

[-] smeg@feddit.uk 13 points 10 months ago

Is it just a brand name for the morning-after pill (i.e. emergency contraception)?

[-] squid_slime@lemmy.world 7 points 10 months ago

Americans and they're brand names in pharmaceuticals is strange to me

[-] tomi000@lemmy.world 2 points 10 months ago

I think it is just called that, not sure if its a brand name.
