Iirc this can fall under antisemitism as it impies the wish to "destroy" izzy. I don't agree, but thats why.
Even though you're right about a lot of this, checking news' sources is always important, especially now.
I want to destroy the state of Israel. Just like my ancestors destroyed the Third Reich. Guess what, Third Reich was destroyed and the Germans didn't go extinct. Likewise, Israel being destroyed will not mean any harm to the Jewish people.
If someone thinks Israel = Jews, they're admitting it's an ethnostate.

Germany has a couple of laws about these sort of statements for obvious reasons.
